This course provides you a wealth of Industrial Education content; which ensures you bridge the gap between academic education and industry requirements.
This course will guide you to explore the current trends in the market and the range of Job opportunities that are available for Civil Engineers in the Water Sector.
Post completion of this course, you would have Drawings and Engineering Reports, all prepared by you using our Software. With your Curriculum Vitae (CV), you can carry these Reports and Drawings as your portfolio, which will definitely boost your placement chances.
You can undergo training at your own comfort, at your own pace and at anywhere, anytime.
The need for building Water Treatment Plants is becoming more urgent for two obvious reason;
Decreasing availability of Quality Drinking Water
Rapid Growth Population.
The Government of India is already working on the most important initiative to provide quality drinking water to every household through Jal Jeevan Mission and therefore candidates with specialization in Water Treatment Plant Design have higher employability as the segment is in dire need of trained professionals.
Most Civil Engineers are busy developing infra structure of buildings, skyscrapers, roads, highways etc. and therefore they fail to notice the biggest opportunities that have opened up in the Water Sector. Civil Engineers with specialization in Water Sector will play a very crucial role in radically transforming India.

Water is the basic resource for guaranteeing LIFE. No water, irrespective of the original source, is assumed completely free of contaminants. Therefore, to provide acceptable form of quality drinking water; the Drinking Water Treatment Plants are set up. The capacity of the Water Treatment Plants is usually measured in Millions of Liters in a Day (MLD).The Water Treatment Plants removes the contaminants & unacceptable components to the acceptable limits through various water cleaning process.
In this course, you will be taken through complete designing concept of each of the above elements. You will start with the absolute basics. You would also be learning Hydraulic Element Design and Head Loss Calculations. Post this, you will be practically designing a Water Treatment Plant using “iNODE WTP” Software. All the design standards provided in the course are in compliance with the Central Public Health and Environmental Engineering Organization (CPHEEO) Manual.
No prior experience in designing the Water Treatment Plant is required to get the most out of this course. The various elements involved in the Water Cleaning Process are:
Cascade Aerator
Rapid Sand Gravity Filter
Parshall Flume
Flash Mixer
Pure Water Sump
Chemical House
Clariflocculator
